MUSIC

A Nose For Sally

A Nose For Sally was the first band I recorded and mixed for, during my junior year. "Free" is near and dear to my heart; I fell in love with it the moment I heard them play it live at an LMU house show. The four members of the band are really tight-knit, so I recorded the song live to capture their chemistry.

Arjun Satyavrath

Arjun is a friend of mine who owns this beautiful analog synth, so when I heard he had a jam band, I immediately reached out and asked to record them. While they usually play all together, I had them record overdubs starting with the drums and working their way up to vocals. The product was a smooth, jazzy groove with some traces of neo-soul.

Max Carr

Max reached out to me and asked if I could help him get in the studio and record some music he's been working on. Having been the primary recording engineer and mixer for two of his bands, I've grown to appreciate his songwriting and vocal style! It wasn't the easiest to get into, but I've loved helping him track the songs he's written (a few out of numerous demos) and mix his music in ways that caters to his garage-rock style.
